The Dutch and other Northern European Liquorice lovers call “Liquorice Allsorts” English Liquorice. The Dutch call their Liquorice’ drop”. Liquorice is very popular in Scandinavia and Germany. Still, particularly in the Netherlands, where it is reported, they have the highest per capita consumption of Liquorice globally, with each person eating four pounds (2000 grams) per year! We got that fact from the Awesome Amsterdam site, an unbelievable amount of Liquorice! We don’t recommend you eat that much.

    These are so moorish,hard to stop once youโ€™ve started.

    All the liquorice Iโ€™ve had (and thatโ€™s a lot!) has been delicious. The only problem is itโ€™s hard to stop eating it as itโ€™s so moorish!
