Italian Raspberry Twists
These raspberry twists are a new one โ and they’ve been worth waiting for. Gelco have taken the same twisted, extruded construction that makes the Italian Twists so distinctive and applied it to a solid raspberry candy. Dark red throughout, bold fruity flavour, firm satisfying chew. No liquorice โ which means they open our range up to a whole new audience while sitting perfectly alongside everything else we do.
The twisted form isn’t decorative. It’s structural โ the extrusion process gives each stick a density and chew that you don’t get from a standard moulded cable. Anyone who’s eaten a Gelco liquorice twist will recognise it immediately. This is that same craftsmanship, applied to fruit.

Gelco have been making our liquorice and candy sticks since the very beginning โ our first outing in 1994. In the thirty-plus years since, they have remained one of Italy’s most respected confectionery makers, and our relationship with them is one of the things we’re most proud of at Saint Valentine’s.
When Gelco develop something new, we pay attention. These Italian raspberry twists are the first fruit candy stick they’ve produced in this format, and the moment we saw them, we knew they belonged in the range. A match made in heaven โ and we mean that quite literally.
