We have so many delicious varieties of liquorice that we’re sure you’ll find more than enough to satisfy your liquorice penchant.
Where does the flavour come from?
The delicious strong liquorice flavour in these Dutch Strong Liquorice pieces comes from this excellent recipe’s particular blend of ingredients. The prominent liquorice flavour comes from liquorice extract, an intensely flavoured goo created by boiling and evaporating the roots of the liquorice plant Glycyrrhiza glabra. This plant is a tall bushy perennial grown in southern and central Europe and Asia. It’s a pea family member and loves warm, dry, and deep soil to develop its valuable and flavoursome roots.

Wow - the ammonia flavour is quite strong, takes some getting used to. But an idea product to keep my blood-pressure up.
I was advised to eat this 3 times a day by a health professional. That was a while ago and although I can't guarantee its health giving properties, it is delicious and I'm still eating it. It has a strong liquorice sweet/salt flavour.
Thanks, Louise glad you enjoy the taste. We do not claim it has any medicinal value, but we appreciate your review.
Lovely tasting liquorice

Packed with liquorice flavour. Just the right consistency – very chewable without being either too soft or sticky. Not sweet and not salty – just strong liquorice. Lovely stuff – if the guys who make this could add a dash of aniseed, this would be a world-beater.
