A true Saint Valentines origin story: In 1994, during a snowstorm en route to Norway, our founder Erling McCracken had a fateful encounter with a Scandinavian distributor of Gelco’s premium Italian confectionery. Inspired by their popularity in Oslo’s sweet stalls, Erling became the first to bring these magnificent treats to British shores. Their UK debut at Glastonbury Festival that summer marked the beginning of a love affair that continues to this day.
